A few of our bespoke builds…
Harrier ‘Bar Table’
Built for ‘Vintage Innovation’, together we have used the plenum chamber and forward thrust nozzles removed from a Harrier Jump Jet engine to create this one of a kind table.
Tornado Lamp
This one off piece was created using a nose under carriage drag brace. (Removed from Panavia Tornado GR.4, Aircraft number ZD714. Built in 1984 for the Royal Air Force, Decommissioned in July 2014.)
A drag brace is used to restrain against the pivot action of the landing gear. The upper end of the two-piece drag brace is attached to the aircraft structure and the lower end to a strut. A hinge near the middle of the brace allows it to fold and permits the gear to retract.
Over 100 hours of machining, polishing and fabricating have been put into this stunning piece to create a one of a kind lamp. No detail has been left out down to the wire locking and split pins, all complete to aircraft spec. Finished off with one of our own octagon shades.
The Bomber tribute
Inspired by the vintage aircraft bomber seats, we painstakingly hand crafted from scratch our take on this beautiful piece of history. Finished up in a stunning vintage red leather.
Texan T-6
Well over 60 years of history destined for scrap. We gave this vintage vertical stabilisers new lease of life.
Redesigned and hand crafted to go on and last a lifetime. Simplistic stye at its finest.
Ram Air Turbine
Stripped, polished and rebuilt. Many hours and lots of love has been put into this piece of aviation history to create a unique display piece for aviation enthusiasts to enjoy. Upon strip down, all the certification and part numbers were noted ensuring upon rebuild everything has gone back to original spec.
Removed from a Sea Harrier FRS.1 The R.A.T as it’s also known is a wind driven turbine which can be lowered out underneath the aircraft during flight. This version drives a hydraulic pump which is used as an alternate or emergency power source.
